Inspiring restaurant logos

The Willow Tea Rooms

Along Sauchiehall Street lies the historic Willow Tea Room.
The tea room is a classic icon of how tea rooms used to be, and is decorated in the Rennie Mackintosh style. They even do an afternoon tea similar to that in Betty's Tea Rooms in York.

The classic, all upper-case lettering and the customized ‘W’of this logotype design provides a real sense of understated sophistication and style.
1930's is a French Bistro with an art deco theme.
After developing my logo and I have decided against the 1940's war style for the interior. I want to create a high class, minimalist look, like these above. Black and White with little colour, maybe just in my menu, as a possibility.
